History of the Company

Deltec started out on Beacon Road in Poulton-le-Fylde with one employee Arthur Dell - The Dell in Deltec

Glen Jenkinson joined Arthur as an apprentice.

Deltec were still precision toolmakers until one potential customer came in and Said ‘can you make this the answer was yes of course, how many? As many as you can make - and so Deltec turned to make Impact Sockets.

Deltec employed more staff and rented the unit next door as well.

Arthur’s daughter Karen Dell joined and spent 5 years in overalls operating the capstan, milling machines, lathes and presses.

Deltec still expanding, took over the third unit on Beacon Road.

Karen came out of the factory to start running Deltec, enabling Arthur to concentrate on what he likes doing best - manufacturing and improving procedures and techniques.

Michelle Rostron joined the Deltec team, as an admin assistant and now Sales Manager, deals with day to day sales, quotes, purchasing and what she does best sales and keeping customers happy - Michelle also has a great deal of product knowledge.

Jay Mahon arrives, having a change in the industry, Jay is Stores / Warehouse Manager, there is not a lot Jay does not know about sockets.

Deltec expands to Wyrefields and buys another unit, a 7200 sq ft Unit with a mezzanine floor for extra storage, one of the newly built units on Poulton Business Park allowing further growth for the factory and Deltec.
